Hey all! Is it too late to say Happy New Year? Here in Greece we say it practically until Valentine’s Day… No? Yeah, ok maybe I’m pushing it a bit. But it’s my first post for 2018 so I have to say something, right?! Have a good one guys!
So, shall we start the year with some healthier banana muffins? These babies are tasty, super filling and have some really healthy ingredients tucked inside. Banana, oats, tahini, honey, olive oil, flax seed and dark chocolate! And there is only a tiny bit of brown sugar, so they are mostly naturally sweetened.
If you need something to have on hand as a midmorning or afternoon snack, either at home or at the office, these muffins are a good idea.
They aren’t fluffy or light, they are quite dense, but that’s what makes them substantial and filling.
Also? They’re extremely easy to throw together.
